Short Story Series Review: “The Lumosynth Player”

“The Lumosynth Player” is a series of two short stories by AO3 author StarcruiserScribe.  The stories provide an endearing view into Ouannii’s personal journey leading up to the 275th voyage of the Halcyon.

“A Rising Star” introduces us to how Ouannii fell in love with music as a youngling and the hard work and passion for her craft that led her to unexpectedly find herself a part of Gaya’s world as her accompanist.

“Love Language” then provides a deeper glimpse into Ouannii’s emotional development when it comes to relationships, setting the stage for her to meet Sandro on the Starcriuiser.

There seems to be a considerable amount of fan fiction being written about Gaya, Raithe, Croy of course, and Captain Keevan. But StarcruiserScribe provides us background and a beginning to this wonderful Rodian musician whose Halcyon love story stole our hearts.
