Building Repurposed

The unfortunate verdict is in on the use of the building formerly known as the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser. According to this article from WDW News Today, the building is being used for Imagineering Offices. Indications are that a number of reuse ideas were considered that would have kept some aspects of the experience alive. But it seems from the indications given that none of the ideas were accepted.

It is our hope here at tabuetay.org that the Imagineers, some of whom were likely responsible for the amazing experience that the Starcruiser provided, have some areas to enjoy that retain some of the ambiance of the Halycon.

May it inspire them to create new forms of immersive interactive experiences in the future that can be enjoyed by a broader community of WDW and Star Wars fans.
