Book Review: “he’s a bit of a fixer-upper” EskForn, November 10, 2023November 10, 2023 We continue our fan fiction review series with this full novel length story by author hayananeyaHaHa at A03. “he’s a bit of a fixer-upper” takes a look at an alternate future in which it is Captain Riyola Keevan who finds herself increasingly drawn to Harmon Croy. The story begins on the Halcyon during the two day 275th anniversary cruise. As Keevan seeks ways to sway Lieutenant Croy from the ideas of the First Order, she begins to find herself inexplicably personally interested in him. Events shortly after the cruise bring that interest more fully into her consciousness in a way that sets the stage for the chapters to follow. The story brings us to the battle of Exegol and the roles of the Halcyon, Captain Keevan, and Harmon Croy in the defeat of the First Order. Croy finds himself on the Starcruiser once again as the ship later resumes providing luxury cruises to well heeled passengers. Over the course of the story, the connection between Croy and Keevan deepens until they can no longer deny to themselves or each other the depths of their desires to be together. The sweet ending to the story rounds out this romantic union and closes out this ‘Croyola’ romance as a very satisfying read. Please note that the book contains mature content towards the end of the story, so readers may be asked at A03 to acknowledge it. It isn’t over the top, just a scene or two that involve adult interactions.I look forward to more stories by this author and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.“he’s a bit of a fixer-upper” by hayananeyaHaHa at AO3.Spread the word Fan Fiction Starcruiser fan fiction
